How to comment on posts or write your own


If you ever want to comment on any article, simply click the “No Comments” (or “One Comment,: etc.) link that appears in the row of information below the title. It appears to the far right after the Date, the author, and the article’s tags.


If you want to write a post, go to the black bar at the top of the screen, and find where it says +New. Choose Post. Give it a title where it says “Enter title here.” Type the text in the box below. There are all sorts of formatting doodads you can play with, but plain text works fine too.

In the upper right corner of the screen, you need to set the Visibility to PRIVATE by clicking on the Edit hyperlink. Otherwise, your text can be read by non-members. This may not always be the best.

You should also choose a Tag from the box marked “Categories.” Usually “Members Only” is the default, but sometimes material aimed at particular schools is appropriate. These categories/tags determine where the pages appear on the site. (Dave may change these–don’t worry.)

Then push the big blue Publish button on the right side of the page and wait to meet your destiny (with all the fame and fortune that accompanies it) as an actual online blogger for
